At Entry Point North we are well aware that Air Traffic Management is dependant on human resources and a very specific set of skills to safely perform the task of air traffic control.
With the assistance of our experienced and qualified staff we can offer a premium level of training in all ATC and ATS disciplines.
Entry Point North’s harmonised team of Training Specialists and instructors bring together decades of knowledge and experience from all over the world.
Entry Point North likes to maintain a close contact with the involved Air Navigation Service Providers, and encourages the ANSPs to provide people from within their own organisation to work as instructors during the simulation phase of training. We provide the relevant training necessary to ensure that instructors have the knowledge and understanding needed to coach their future colleagues on the simulators. Our training philosophy is to provide the students with a learning environment that is akin to the real world, by facilitating training on “state of the art” simulators, and also by bringing them into contact early with future operational colleagues from control towers and centres.
The objective is to facilitate a smoother transition into unit training and to prepare them for the “real world” ATCO work and responsibilities.
Training Specialists delivering theoretical training are trained in classroom instructional techniques. Entry Point North monitors their professionalism and pedagogical skills, and provides regular feedback from both students and supervisors. The result: a compact team of qualified and motivated Training Specialists dedicated to the task of learning and pedagogically skilled in transferring their knowledge and enthusiasm for ATC.
