ATS academy in Hungary

Entry Point Central is an ATS academy in Budapest, which HungaroControl (the Hungarian ANSP) and Entry Point North jointly founded in 2011. At this academy, we deliver training to Hungarian as well as international course participants.

Entry Point Central's training portfolio includes Initial Training (Basic ATC, ADI, APS, ACS), OJTI, OJTI Refresher and Assessor training. Additionally, we provide English classes to the operational staff and the supporting area of HungaroControl. Such training is conducted by both our own teachers and native-speaker tutors of a language school.

Entry Point Central is approved by the Hungarian Civil Aviation Authority to conduct Initial, practical instructor and assessor training according to Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340.

This academy is equipped with 34 simulator positions and two 180° TWR 3D simulators. More than 100 students started a course in 2020. Most of our instructors are active air traffic controllers, who have up-to-date experience and knowledge in the field.
