Entry Point Central, Hungary

Entry Point Central is an international ATS academy in Budapest, founded in May 2011 by HungaroControl, the Hungarian Air Navigation Service Provider, and Entry Point North. It is a certified training organisation in accordance with the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2015/340.
Entry Point Central provides initial and development training for air traffic controllers. Students are trained to meet the requirements of Basic ATC and the appropriate rating whether this is APS, ADI, ACS or a combination of these. Entry Point Central also offers professional and internationally recognised OJTI, OJTI Refresher and Assessor training courses. The ATM training solutions offered to customers are carried out in accordance with Best Practice and all international rules and standards including ICAO and the European Commission.

Entry Point Central comprises of 350 m² of training facilities: classrooms, simulator rooms and a conference room fitted with the latest AV equipment. The site is equipped with 34 simulator positions and two 180° TWR 3D simulators. More than 480 students started a course in 2017.
