ATSEP training in Bangkok

Entry Point North has been again chosen to train Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AEROTHAI) staff. Between 20 February and 3 March, we have been delivering our first ever courses in Bangkok, Thailand: ATSEP Basic (eight days, Eurocontrol CCC) and a customised ATSEP Shared (two days, with subjects such as Human Factors and Safety for ATSEP). During the coming spring several participants from AEROTHAI will come to Sweden to join the open ATSEP Qualification courses.

The participants are sixteen AEROTHAI engineers and technicians, most of whom work in Bangkok. The course is held at the Banyan Tree Bangkok hotel and delivered by our ATSEP training specialist Jörn Andre Andersen. Entry Point North has been delivering ATSEP courses since 2012 at our sites in Malmö and Budapest as well as at client sites, for example ATSEP training was previously held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Hong Kong.

“Even though the job of ATSEP may be similar all over the world, there are cultural differences both in organisations and how people interact in the classroom. My task, apart for teaching, is to get as much involvement from the participants as possible, which will add greatly to the quality of the course”, says Jörn, instructor on ATSEP Basic courses.

Entry Point North offers the following ATSEP Training courses:

  • ATSEP Basic, 8 days
  • ATSEP Shared, 3 days
  • ATSEP Qualification (COM, NAV, SUR, DAT-DP and SMC), 7-10 days for combined courses
  • ATSEP OJTI and ATSEP Assessor, 4 and 3 days
