Convocatoria 2017

In 2018, Entry Point North offers a range of Initial ATC courses in Madrid connection with ENAIRE's Convocatoria 2017. Currently, a rating course programme consisting of APS + ACS(TCL) + APP/ACP + GMS is planned to start on 8 Oct 2018 for applicants who already hold an ADI/ADV rating. Please find below on this page the course contents and how to apply.

Basic ATC + ADI/ADV(TWR)(RAD)(GMS) + APS + ACS(TCL) + APP/ACP Programme

For the candidates who have never worked as air traffic controllers and don't hold any licence, we offer a full ATC Initial training programme following the ENAIRE selection process. Currently no dates are planned for this programme.

The programme includes:
  • Basic ATC, ADI/ADV(TWR)(RAD)(GMS), APS, ACS(TCL), APP/ACP courses delivered according to Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340
  • Continuous assessment and support to each individual student throughout the whole training, which includes individual actions, extra training and support during the course, if needed (no additional cost)
  • Skilled, trained and certified instructors with vast amount of experience
  • iPad provided for each student for the period of the training
  • If possible, there will be a study visit to relevant ACC in Spain

APS + ACS(TCL) + APP/ACP + GMS Programme

For the ones who already hold an ADI/ADV rating, we offer a programme of the additional rating courses.

Price:
The price for this programme is 34 000 EUR.

Starting date:
There will be a programme starting 8 October 2018 until approximately 23 May 2019. There will be a break for Christmas plus breaks for Spanish public holidays.

The programme includes:
  • APS, ACS(TCL), APP/ACP, GMS rating courses delivered according to Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340
  • Continuous assessment and support to each individual student throughout the whole training, which includes individual actions, extra training and support during the course, if needed (no additional cost)
  • Skilled, trained and certified instructors with a vast amount of experience
  • Assessment of Previous Competence (APC) for those who already hold an ADI/ADV Student License which will take place at the end of the course, if required
  • iPad provided for each student for the period of the training
  • If possible, there will be a study visit to relevant ACC in Spain

Register for the rating courses programme by filling out the form below and sending it to spain@entrypointnorth.com along with your scanned ID and scanned ATCO license, together with the bank transfer receipt of the deposit (15% of the price of the course: 5100 EUR).

The academy is our 5th training site in Europe and offers top quality Basic and all Rating training courses for Spanish students who plan to work for ENAIRE or any other Air Navigation Service Provider in Spain.

Being one of the largest air traffic controller academies worldwide, Entry Point North educates more than 3000 controllers a year coming from Scandinavian as well as various European (Sweden, Denmark, Croatia, Belgium, Spain etc.), Asian and Middle Eastern countries. Recognition of Entry Point North as a training provider in Spain

Entry Point North is a training organisation licensed to deliver training in all EU member states, including Spain, under Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340 of 20 February 2015, as stated by AESA. See following documents for reference: AESA website.

The Training Certificate and the Student License issued after passing our Initial training courses will be recognised by AESA and ENAIRE.
