Entry Point North Ireland DAC was established in January 2014 and is the second-largest training site within the Entry Point North Group. Job description Air traffic controller students are trained in a simulator environment where the simulator pilot act as their counterpart. The simulator pilots’ main responsibility is to program the simulator with the clearances and instructions given by the air traffic controllers.
You will be a part of a simulator pilot pool and work on a need basis in Shannon. You have a very good working knowledge of computers, preferably you are a gamer and/or have experience from VATSIM. A valid/expired pilot licence or experience from Air traffic controlling is also considered an advantage. Due to the specific aviation phraseology that is used it is important that you have a good and clear command of the English language.
We are looking for an open minded colleague with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things. As a person you are ambitious and responsible with a service minded attitude. You are prestige less and have good communicative skills. Your work style is flexible and can as easily be independent as in a work group environment. You are good at multitasking and have no problems adapting to quick changes.
