The basic Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) training course is designed to impart basic knowledge and skills to technical personnel or ab-initio students operating and maintaining air traffic management (ATM) equipment.
Entry Point North offers five qualification streams (sixteen courses) and the Shared qualification stream – all in accordance with the EASA ANNEX XIII – Part-PERS requirements for service providers concerning personnel training and competence assessment Subpart A – Air Traffic Safety Electronic Personnel.

The course is designed to impart domain-related knowledge and skills appropriate to the Surveillance (SUR) qualification streams (SUR-PSR, SUR-SSR, SUR-ADS).
The course is designed to impart domain related knowledge and skills appropriate to the Data Processing (DAT-DP) qualification.
The course is designed to impart domain related knowledge and skills appropriate to all the Systems, Monitoring and Control (SMC) qualification streams (SMC-COM, SMC-NAV, SMC-SUR, SMC-DAT).
The aim of the course is to update and reinforce the techniques acquired on aviation meteorological systems, the knowledge and skills to work with aviation meteorological equipment.
Gain the needed knowledge and tools to perform as an OJT instructor and coach in the OTJ training phase on practical exercises on equipment.
The course addresses personnel that might not be directly impacted by the ATSEP regulation Annex XIII Part-Pers in the regulation 373/2017, but still are in a need of basic ATSEP knowledge in their daily duties. This could be project managers, group manager or others who work together with ATSEP personnel.
This course ensures that already competent ATSEP OJTIs maintain knowledge and understanding acquired, and even deepen it in some objectives.
The aim of the course is to ensure that already competent ATSEP assessors maintain knowledge and understanding regarding safe and efficient assessment of colleagues and/or students in the operational environment.
