Entry Point North announces the opening of a new training site in Bangkok, Thailand, under the name Entry Point North Asia. The new site marks a key step in the company’s strategic expansion in South East Asia and strengthens its ability to serve partners and customers across the Asia Pacific region with high quality, operationally related ATS training.
Air traffic demand across South East Asia and the wider Asia Pacific region continues to grow, increasing the need for scalable, high quality training solutions. The new Bangkok site is intended to support regional capacity building by improving access to training, simulation, and competence development aligned with operational and regulatory requirements. The regional site will work in close coordination with Entry Point North’s headquarters and its global and local networks of instructors, subject matter experts, and technical specialists. The site is planned to support a broad portfolio of services. This includes Air Traffic Control training, Flight Information Services training, Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel training, Recruitment and Selection and Simulator services. The site will also deploy Entry Point North’s NorthSim simulator platform, combining high‑fidelity simulation with advanced analytics and AI‑supported functionality to support initial training, continuation training, and tailored customer programmes
With the establishment of Entry Point North Asia, Entry Point North expands its global footprint to eight sites. The Bangkok operation will bring training closer to regional partners and customers and increase capacity for air navigation service providers, airports, and aviation authorities across South East Asia.
“Air traffic operations in Asia Pacific are developing rapidly, both in volume and complexity,” says Anne Kathrine Jensen, CEO of Entry Point North. “By establishing a training presence in Thailand, we will be able to work more closely with regional partners, expand regional capacity and leverage advanced simulation technologies, and thereby respond effectively to training need.”
The Bangkok site will support classroom based, blended, and digital training solutions. All services will follow Entry Point North’s established training methodologies and international standards. Over time, the operation is expected to develop into a regional hub for training, simulation, and competence development, supporting capacity building and operational excellence across South East Asia.
