Course structure

The Parallel Runway Operations course is 3-7 days in duration.

The introductory course (3 days) describes independent and dependant parallel runway operations. The course shows multiple runway operations optimizing traffic movements on a maneuvering area, examples of terminal area layout and aerodrome layout from relevant aerodromes with parallel operations.

The intermediate course (5 days) includes all content from the introductory course, plus: apron service and airport view.

The advanced course (7 days) includes all content from the intermediate course, plus: TMA with multiple aerodromes and a relevant expert lecture.

Prerequisites

• ATC background.
• English language skills at ICAO level 4 or higher.
