Entry Point North and HungaroControl Extend Cooperation on Area Control Simulation Training
Entry Point North and HungaroControl have extended their cooperation to further develop local area control airspace for simulation training. The continued work supports realistic, operation-based training for air traffic controllers and strengthens the long-standing partnership between the two organisations.
The cooperation focuses on the joint development of a local Area Control Surveillance training environment. By aligning simulation scenarios and airspace structures with operational conditions, the aim is to make the training more relevant to the controllers who will use it.
The partnership builds on the work of Entry Point Central in Budapest, established in 2011 as a joint venture between HungaroControl and Entry Point North. The academy delivers ATC Initial Training, Practical Instructor and Assessor Training, as well as aviation English training and language testing.
The extended cooperation builds on the strengths of both organisations. HungaroControl contributes local operational knowledge and expertise from Hungarian air traffic services. Entry Point North contributes its training methodology, simulator experience and international ATS training perspective.
